Celebrating Success and Cultivating Collaboration: Skyhigh Security APJ Partner Summit 2023

On May 16-19, I had the opportunity to host Skyhigh Security’s inaugural APJ (Asia-Pacific and Japan) Partner Summit in Bangkok, Thailand. This highly anticipated event brought together our sales, channel leaders and innovators from across the region to explore emerging trends, share insights, and discuss the future of our Security Service Edge (SSE) technology. With a focus on pushing boundaries and reaching new heights, this was an unforgettable experience for me and, from the smiles on all faces, all attendees.

The three-day event included keynote speakers across our executive leadership team, including Joel Camissar, VP of Sales for APJ; Abhay Solapurkar, Chief Customer Officer; Thyaga Vasudevan, VP of Product Management; Arnie Lopez, VP of Sales Engineering; and me. We also recognized our top partners across the APJ region. The awards celebrated the remarkable accomplishments of our channel partners and distributors, acknowledging their exceptional achievements in sales, expertise in delivering Skyhigh Security solutions, and unwavering commitment to excellent customer service.

Our channel partners are the heartbeat of our business. They align with our core belief that security should be ingrained from the beginning and given top priority, enabling organizations to collaborate seamlessly from any device and any location without compromising their security. Each APJ awardee was selected because they exhibited remarkable growth through their innovative practices and a genuine dedication to serving our mutual customers. We congratulate our winners on this well-deserved recognition and thank them for their continued partnership with Skyhigh Security.

In Joel’s keynote, he shared that developing winning partnerships is a key strategy of our APJ business. At Skyhigh Security, 100% of our business goes through partnerships. We have the highest deal registration and new business contribution from partners globally. With the launch of our new Skyhigh Altitude Partner Program, we provide more incentives for partners to earn higher margins and more opportunities for enablement to drive our partner’s businesses.

We understand our partners have a choice in who they represent, and we’ll work hard for that to be Skyhigh Security. We take pride in recognizing the recipients of this year’s partner awards and acknowledge their exceptional work in driving business value and industry success across APJ, including their strong focus on meeting the needs of our shared customers.

Skyhigh Security recently celebrated its one-year birthday. The decision to stand up Skyhigh Security as an independent business enables Skyhigh Security to focus on its core competencies and pursue emerging SSE opportunities independently. This move has also enabled us to enhance our offerings, strengthen our channel ecosystem, and better serve our joint customers. Skyhigh Security has increased its investment in APJ with a Sales and Customer Success Team to support our customers and partners.

As attendees left the Summit, they carried with them newfound knowledge, connections, and a shared vision for a technology-driven future. The Skyhigh Security Inaugural APJ Summit undoubtedly set the stage for exciting advancements in the Asia-Pacific and Japan region and beyond.
