For years, we’ve believed that an organization’s most powerful and important asset is its data. Today, as AI, hybrid workforces, and other advances transform how businesses operate, this conviction feels more relevant than ever. Data has become the fuel that powers innovation, decision-making, and true competitive advantages.
Even so, these advancements are forcing enterprises to confront a difficult reality: the more accessible and distributed their data becomes, the harder it is to protect. Sensitive information now moves across cloud environments, SaaS and private applications, endpoints, browsers, AI services, and more. In parallel, new regulations, standards, data sovereignty requirements, and growing geopolitical complexity are raising the security and compliance stakes for leaders everywhere.
These trends aren’t new to us. They’ve shaped the Skyhigh Security strategy for years.
We’ve focused on helping organizations understand where their data lives, protect it as it moves, and apply consistent controls across increasingly complex environments. As the industry around us continues its rapid evolution, we believe a data-centric approach remains the most effective way to enable innovation without compromising security.
Rooted in this data-centric mindset, we’ve spent the past year continuing to invest significant time and energy into helping customers address some of their most pressing challenges. While varied, they can be broken down into four key categories:
Helping organizations confidently adopt AI.
In many of my conversations with customers, I’ve heard the same perspective: they want to accelerate AI adoption, but only if they have the confidence that the data powering new solutions remains protected. That’s why we developed Skyhigh AI, a solution that helps maintain consistent protection, policymaking support, threat prevention, and compliance across the expanding AI landscape. It’s also why we’ve continued developing our existing portfolio of data-centric capabilities, including Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) and policy-driven controls that help teams discover sensitive data, understand AI risk, and enforce protections in dynamic environments.
Supporting increasingly diverse and distributed IT infrastructure.
The security perimeter as we once knew it does not exist anymore. Today’s enterprises operate across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments, often all at once. As organizations adopt these modern distributed models, they need security solutions that adapt to their architecture rather than the other way around. Our FedRAMP High Authorized DSPM and Skyhigh Secure Web Gateway (SWG) capabilities help extend protection across the hybrid workforce, letting enterprises scale, connect, and secure their teams while supporting internet access and deterring risk from any location, application, and device at any time.
Recognizing data sovereignty as a strategic priority.
Today’s organizations must navigate increasingly complicated regulatory and regional requirements that govern how data is stored, processed, and protected. We believe that flexible deployment models help customers meet these requirements without sacrificing visibility or control. Our Hybrid SSE model supports deployment across customer data centers, hyperscalers, cloud environments, and hybrid infrastructures, helping teams implement modern security controls while preserving the flexibility they need to meet operational, performance, compliance, and sovereignty requirements.
Looking towards what’s coming next.
We understand that our customers need to innovate without the risk of breach or noncompliance. From AI-powered protection, to stronger browser-based controls, to expanded DSPM capabilities, to post-quantum preparedness, our focus remains on investing in solutions that help customers stay ahead of the rapidly changing threat landscape. By working closely with teams to offer differentiated, use-case-specific capabilities, we ensure that each enterprise is equipped with the tools they need to keep sensitive information secure, from the server to the edge.
We don’t innovate to earn analyst recognition; we innovate to solve customer problems. But when respected industry analysts independently assess the market and identify strengths that align with our long-term strategy, we see it as a meaningful validation of our efforts.
We’re proud to share that Skyhigh Security was recognized in both the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Security Service Edge as well as the 2026 Gartner® Critical Capabilities Report for Advanced SSE. In the Critical Capabilities evaluation, Skyhigh SSE ranked #1 in the Advanced SSE Use Case with a score of 4.2 out of 5, along with above-average scores in the Private Application Access (4.12 out of 5) and SaaS and AI Enablement (4.06 out of 5) use cases.
This momentum also extends beyond Gartner, building on recognition earned across the analyst community as we’ve continued developing important and innovative features for our customers. Over the past year, Skyhigh was named a 2025 Info-Tech Champion in the Secure Web Gateway (SWG) Quadrant, earning strong customer feedback for features like Data Loss Prevention (DLP), policy management, and ease of implementation and data integration. Skyhigh DSPM also achieved a Best in Class rating from Omdia, highlighting both our advanced data protection capabilities and our commitment to helping organizations secure sensitive data wherever it resides.
As I look toward the future, one thing is clear: security conversations will only continue to revolve around data.
AI adoption will keep accelerating, data sovereignty requirements will continue to evolve, and data infrastructure will continue to expand beyond traditional boundaries. But amid all of this, organizations will still need solutions that allow them to innovate at business speed while maintaining control over their most important assets.
At Skyhigh, we’ve long believed that organizations should not have to choose between innovation and protection. Our mission is to help customers embrace AI, cloud, hybrid work, and beyond without losing visibility or control over their data.
The recognition we’ve received from Gartner, Omdia, Info-Tech, and beyond reinforces our belief that this strategy is resonating. I firmly believe that we bring unique features—from our dynamic DSPM, to Hybrid SSE, to Skyhigh AI, to SWG, and beyond—that can go toe-to-toe with any of our market peers. And I look forward to continuing to evolve in the coming year, meeting whatever needs the market and our customers bring to our attention.
